Trip to the Ustjurt-Plateau (and Aral Lake Tour)

Hey hey,

for an Uzb trip in April/May next year, im looking for an opportunity for a trip to the Ustjurt plateau. I know that a lot of Aral lakes tours cover this, but I would like to get a deeper look, maybe with an overnight camp somewhere on the plateau. Can someone recommend any tour operators?

I'm also still looking for a Tour to the Aral Lake in general. I found Islambek from out of Khiva, with a stay in the Jurt camp.However, the price seems to be very steep for Uzb standard (about 620€/two people). Are there any more affordable Options? Is booking in presence more recommendable?

Hi. I did a trip to the lakeshore a week ago. Paid 170usd. It was an option to stay in the yurt for the night (with extra cost), however I decided not to and return to Muynak same day. Contact to the guy can be easily found on Google maps. He runs a guesthouse called Timur House very close to an airport in Muynak. He speaks very good english. He arranged a driver (no english, russian only) who supplies a artemia harvesters with food, gasoline etc and goes there on a daily basis but only during a harvest (April may be too late). I had a opportunity to visit their camp and staff which I found even more interesting. Best regards
