train to Urgench --> Samarkand

Hi!
From Tutu website I realized that there are 2 daily trains Urgench --> Samarkand.

One seems to be a uzbek one that I can buy online, the second one is a russian train and I cannot buy it online.

Do you think once in Urgench I will be allowed to buy the ticket for the "russian" one (it has a better timetable)?

If not, I have to get on the Uzbek one and arrive in Samarkan at 02:45am. Will I find a taxi at that time to get in some accomodation?

Do you have any suggestion?

Yes,

in Urgench you can buy the "russian" train ticket. It is not a Russian train obviously, just an Uzbek train you cannot buy a ticket online for. You can also buy it through us if you are worried there will not be space, costs a few dollars more.

I toook this train in september and we bought tickets Urgench - Samarkand 1 day in advance for 3 persons - no problem.
We bought this tickets at the small train station Shavat, which was on our route by taxi from the Turkmen border to Khiva. Going via Urgench to buy the tickets would have caused a significant detour. That's why we asked our driver to make a short stop at Shavat train station.
