Finding bicycle box in Tashkent

Hello all,

I'm flying from Tashkent to Delhi on Sunday and am having a hard time finding a good box to pack my bicycle in. I found one box at a recycling center that's for a flat screen TV, but it's way too big and I'm afraid Uzbek Airways will reject it.

Does anyone have experience buying/getting such a bike box in Tashkent? Is there a bicycle shop that might help?

Thanks!

Just an update:

Yes, I did go through the article (but after your post :D). Dinamo, as the article says is completely useless. But the guys there were really helpful and guided me to a paper-recycling shop (it's on the perpendicular street less than 300 m away) and there I got a TV box. But that was way too big. So I tried and failed to find the shop on Amir Temur Avenue.

On maps.me there's a bicycle shop marked as VeloMarket -- that guy said he usually has boxes, so if someone else is looking, this might be a good place to start. He then guided me to a cycle rental shop (near EkoPark) who actually had a box. So I ended up with a box finally.

Hope this helps someone who's looking for a box in the future. Apparently, it's a common treasure hunt for cyclists in Tashkent! Though the more hardcore ones probably build their own boxes :)
