staying with a friend/hotel slip replacements?

I'm in the midst of maybe planning a stay in central asia this summer (the details are murky, in true central asian fashion ) but I have a friend from my city whose family goes back and forth between tashkent and samarqand on visits in july, and I was thinking of visiting him. How would I document that for when I cross the border back into kyrgyzstan?

It's no longer a problem. If you look at the recent registration reports on this forum, they all say nobody made a fuss. If you have a few slips it should be fine.

Confirming today we crossed the border with a handful of slips for most of our 20 day stay, we stayed with a friend and forgot some of the slips but were not questioned about it. They did want to see some though.
