Climbing Venues & Groups - Uzbek

Hi,

I’m a keen climber (outdoor & indoor, trad/sport/bouldering) and am moving to Uzbekistan (Tashkent) soon.

I’d be grateful if anyone with knowledge of the local climbing scene could share with me any pointers on climbing venues (indoors & outdoors), clubs / groups, and gear shops.

Hi Martin,

since you are moving there shortly, I think you are the one who should be updating us! I just googled стена для скалолазания ташкент, already found some possible leads - I suggest you dig in a bit yourself, things change quickly, First port of call probably this website:

which I also found in the same google result. The bookmarks I had from a few years back have all gone offline, so it's really best to ask around on the ground.
