Hi after any info on potential packrafting trips in Central Asia (Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan).
We will be there in June 2020 and thinking about taking our packrafts.
Based on the gradients and descriptions some very serious white water. Looking for some quieter walk in, float out options.

Re: Packrafting
Yeah, most of the water is pretty steep in Central Asia. I think in Kyrgyzstan Boom gorge and Chong Kemin are definitely partly doable, these are the main places where rafting companies take tourists.
In Kazakhstan Ili river is an easy one, Charyn gorge is partly doable.
Otherwise, would be very happy to hear what your research yields, you are the first person I have come across that talks about packrafting Central Asia, so virgin territory.
