Tajikistan to India through China

Hello fellow travelers.

I (cyclist, French passport) would like to know what are the possibilities to overland from Tajikistan to India (and vice-versa). Any tips or feedback is appreciated.
More info : I am currently in Kazakhstan, so I'll have to do my visas on the road. I will not go to Afghanistan because it'll ban me from visiting the USA.

Plan A: (red) (++ China visa-free 30 days | -- Pakistan Visa)
- Tajikistan to China (Qolma pass)
- China to Pakistan (Khunjerab pass)
- Pakistan to India (Wagah border)

Plan B: (yellow) (++ no Pakistan visa | -- China visa because + 30 days, how to cross China to India?)
- Tajikistan to China (Qolma pass)
- China to India (what would you do? Is this possible? I couldn't find reliable information on land borders beteween China and India)

I'd be interested in seeing even the unreliable information on crossing from China to India. Even if it was possible, you would need a tour guide to enter Tibet.

I don't think you could go to India by land, as there's no crossable passes between India and us. We have border controversies with India all along the border. There are armies and sometimes conflicts in those areas. There might be one or two passes that are open for local people to trade products. There's also Nathu La pass, which was open to Indian pilgrims. Not sure about the current status.
You need to go through Nepal. China-Nepal-India was doable several years ago. Right now there are buses running between Shigatse and Kathmandu, so I guess it should be okay for tourists.

Thank you for the tips. Plan A seems to be the easiest, and plan B may only be doable through Tibet-Nepal.

Plan A is the easiest, but you would not see anything of China. Plan B is better, but it would cost you a lot. There is no good solution here
