Travelling through Xinjiang

Hello everyone

I know there are already some topics about Xinjiang, but I couldn't collect all the informations I need.

My plan is to travel from north to south of Xinjiang this summer : I'll arrive by plane in Urumqi and will exit for Tadjikistan at Qulma Pass. Basically, my road would be Urumqi-Turpan-Korla-Kuqa-Aksu-Hotan-Kashgar-Tashkurgan. Are all these cities opened to foreigners ? Can I found a place to stay in everyone of them ? I have some doubts. I also have a doubt about the Aksu-Hotan road : can I board a bus or will I have to go to Kashgar from Aksu ? (assuming I can make it to Aksu...)

Is some of you can give me the latests news, it will be appreciated !

You're right, but I'm not sure there is a train beetween Aksu and Hotan, and I really want to make it through the desert
