Urumqi to Turpan train- which station?

Hello, I'll be travelling from Urumqi to Turpan by train next week and I know there are 2 stations in Urumqi but I'm not clear on the best station I should get the train from. Is either station OK? I'm aware I need to get the train to Turpan North.

I took this train recently : it stopped in both Urumqi south (urumqinan), which is the old station, and Urumqi, which is the new one. Urumqi south is easier to reach. Beware to arrive in advance as it can be crowded and you'll have to go through different controls.
