I have heard of this once in Hong Kong that someone got refused for visits to other countries. No other reports like that yet.

Hi, I got a one month Chinese visa in Dhaka with a pakistani visa in my passport. Applying in Dhaka for a Chinese visa is very easy btw, though printing the online form in bengali cybercafes is a pain. Hotel bookings were not asked. But you need (fake) flight tickets. If you take express service, you get your visa the next day
