Hey all! Just wanted to share a resource I stumbled across that’s been really great whilst travelling in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. It’s an initiative by BACU called Socialist Modernism (http://socialistmodernism.com/about/).
The Instagram page is @socialistmodernism and the app is called SocialistModernism (for iPhone, not sure about Android). The app lets you select the country you’re in and then shows notable architecture built from 1955-91 on a map, along with exact coordinates, architect’s name, and other details. Found some gems because of this!
