Money exchange in Uzbekistan - British pounds

Hello everyone, I’ll soon be taking a trip to Uzbekistan and am a bit confused on money to take. Can I exchange British Pound after arrival to Taskent airport? Do they exchange GBP into Som? Also, before leaving the country can I get rid of any remaining Som at the airport? And lastly when taking a local cab or buying a museum ticket or paying for my accommodation in cash, can I pay with Som everywhere? Thank you
