Visa on arrival Dushanbe

Do you know if it's common to get a 60 days VOA ? Did you specificly ask for it ?

We didn’t request 60 days that was just given.
It’s really cheap in Tajikistan our room in Dushanbe was about $16. We stayed at Alisher Hotel it was a bit dated but great value.
Haft Kul and Iskanderkul are amazing well worth the effort to see them.

Believe me it's not. I had it in less than a week (french passport) and I'm not the only one. Process seems quite effective these days AND you get the GBAO permit.

Hi there,

With German passports we had no issue to get VOA at Dushanbe Airport. Immigration was busy. We needed elbows to get to counter. We still needed GBAO permit so we registered at Ovir office. You need some kind of document from the accommodation you are staying with. (at Greenhouse Hostel it was given without us asking)
This cost ranges from 220 Somoni to 320 Somoni and is cheaper then the evisa. But it takes one day to process and they take your passport overnight. (you can be lucky and they do it faster)
We have German passports.

At the airport, how many days did you get for the VOA?

$60 visa on arrival. Needed letter of invitation. Went smoothly.

If passport cue is long they let international passports go through diplomatic/crew cue (booth 1)

We get a stamp nothing else. So according to German foreign ministery it should be 30 days.

We stayed around 3 weeks leaving via Kyzyl Art pass without any issues
