Re: information about flying with somonair
Somon Air has been doing occasional charter flights from Dushanbe to Frankfurt (expat/diplomat evacuations), to Dubai (to pick up the Tajiks who live there), as well as to an airport in Italy to pick up workers for a large industrial project, but I had assumed all regional flights within Central Asia had been cancelled or dialed down. As for their website, that's strange. They've tried hard to get up to international standards over the last few years. Maybe someone forgot to pay a bill or renew their URL domain?
I'll ask on Twitter to see if anybody has any inside info.
How did you get the ticket? From an aviakassa (ticket agent on the street in Almaty) or online? And if online, from Somon Air directly or from a separate ticket selling site?

Also, sending emails in Central Asia is usually waste of time. You need to call their office phone number (and speak in Russian).

Hi.
Where did you buy that ticket?
On their Facebook page Somon Air said that they have stopped international flights since March. But there are fake sites that sell tickets.

Re: information about flying with somonair
Hi, my flight Duchanbe - Istanbul is delayed for ten hours. I will miss my flight Istanbul - Brussel because of this. I know this will not fall under EU compensation regulations. The Somonair disclaimer says it will not be responsible for missed flights but do i have right for compensation for the delay? Anybody got experience with asking this with Somonair?

Re: information about flying with somonair
The EU conpensation flights would not fall under this as obvious it is not a flight to Europe. Also not relevant here but even if it was a direct flight to the EU it would as far as I know not fall under it as the EU rules onyl apply to flight with EU airliners AND airliner flying from Europe (not too).
If you are on a single ticket (e.g. connecting flight with turkish) they will need to rebook you. Not sure how this works in this case. If you booked two single tickets you unfortunatally need to book a new flight.
