Hi Guys,

It seems to me that the GBAO is now accessible so I'm moving forward with my plan to visit Tajikistan this August-September.

I'm having some difficulties with finding information on vehicle rentals within Tajikistan, the link here on Caravanistan doesn't seem to work either.
I have sent messages to a few different rental agencies but have yet to hear back from either one of them.
From my understanding, vehicle rentals should be made well in advance; is this accurate or would I be able to wing it?

Besides Dushanbe are there vehicle/motorcycles for hire in Khorugh?

I would like to do a motorcycle ride of the Bartang valley and hire a 4x4 for the Pamir highway...just trying to figure out what my options are right now.
