Car rental in Tajikistan

Hi,

we want to rent a 4x4 car in May for about two weeks to travel the country by ourselves (e.g. Dushanbe area and Pamir highway).

Do you know any car rentals in Dushanbe or other parts of the country?

I am aware that self driving in Tajikistan is challenging.

Hi zubr, yes, that is possible now. You can rent a car in Khorog, or otherwise, rent a car from Osh with Oibek and take it across the Pamir Highway from there. See http://caravanistan.com/car-rental

Hi everybody!

Some friends and I are planning a trip in Tajikistan for this August.

Our plan is to rent a car and drive it along the beautiful Pamir Highway for a couple of weeks.

Can anybody in this forum suggest a good rental service that allows self driving?

We would like to rent the car in Khujand or eventually Dušanbe.
