Just had a thought; were planning on using one more day than you to reach murghab, plus a day or two in murghab, so would be leaving from murghab around 17th (which is same time as you I assume if you start on the 15th).
We would definitely be up for sharing from murghab to Khorog if it possible with the car (we had the exact same route in our thoughts). Not sure which car you have negotiated, but the land cruisers often have more than 5 seats anyways.
We have gotten an offer for 0,67 per km plus 20 usd per day for the driver, but your might be better.

Re: Pamir highway mid-May
Hi guys.
This may suit either Beck or Kine.
We are planning a trip to the Pamirs/Wakhan from Osh to Osh in an anti-clockwise direction.
The Trip
We plan on doing a Pamir/Wakhan trip from the 15th May 2016 to the 30th May 2016.
Our planned route is:
THIS ROUTE IS FLEXIBLE TOO!!!
Day 1 (15th) - Osh to Isfara (crossing border to Tajikistan)
Day 2 (16th) - Isfara to Sarytag (Fan Mountains)
Day 3 (17th) - Hiking in Fan Mountains
Day 4 (18th) - Sarytag to Dushanbe (leave early to spend afternoon in Dushanbe to collect GBAO permit)
Day 5/6 (19th/20th) - Dushanbe to Khorog
Day 7 (21st) - Khorog (hot springs) to Ishkashem (for Afghan border market). Possibly stay here the night or drive further towards Langar
Day 8 (22nd) - Ishkashem/Langar to Murgab via Vrang, Bulunkul, petroglyphs etc
Day 9 (23rd) - Murgab to Karakul Lake
Day 10 (24th) - Karakul Lake to Sary Mogul (crossing back into Kyrgyzstan) - from here can hike base of Pik Lenin
Day 11 (25th) - Sary Mogul to Osh
We will be possibly extending our trip all the way to Bishkek to include Song-Kul, Arslanbob and another place on the way to Bishkek you’re welcome to continue.
About us
We are an Australian Couple in our Mid 30’s that have been on the road for 2 years now. We have experience in driving in rough conditions with plenty of off road trips. We are looking to share the costs of the rental, fuel and others that may arise.
Costs
Vehicle rental at the moment is USD 100 per day per car (we are searching for a more economical option). Depending on the amount of people (4 Max) this would be split evenly
Fuel cost is on top of this.
You will have to pay for your own food and accommodation.
Let us know if you’re interested at [email protected]
Peace.

Re: Pamir highway mid-May
Hi Kine and Marek!
Sorry for late reply.
Yes Kine enjoy your trip, neither I could make it for the 13th. I need to finish my Kyrgyzstan trip.
Marek, for some reading I wasn't able to get my visa from Tajik Embassy in Bishkek, they rejected giving out visa to me with my LOI. I'll need to go back to Uzbekistan after Kyrgyzstan obtain visa and come to Osh vie the border in Andijan, Uzbekistan.
That might take another week or so to reach Uz and back.
Hope I didn't ruin your plans. And of course enjoy your trip!

Have you done this trip well?
What about weather and road condition in May?
Thanks in advance for your reply (I'm planning almost the same trip in May 2017) .
