Just a quick note regarding the e-Visa with the GBAO permit. We did the Pamir with just the printout and it was fine.
Our passports were stamped when we entered via Uzbekistan by land (not the e-Visa).
When we exited via Kyrgyzstan they kept the printout.
No issues at all.
PS. Black and white printout was fine.

Duly noted and will be addressed shortlyCrazydre wrote:Don't know why it says on Caravanistan that the only Airports where e-visas are accepted are Dushanbe and Khujand - there are more international Airports in Tajikistan

Re: Tajikistan launches evisa with GBAO permit
Hi !
Just asked for the 2 Tajik Visas yesterday. French passport, with GBAO.
We had the e-visa in our emailbox less than 7 hours later with a BIG surprise : it's not fixed dates.
We have 3 months to enter the country, and it will be valid for 45 days.
Too bad, because if I knew that before, I wouldn't have spend so much time calculating the exact date of entry
Let's see if we have no problem to cross the border by bicycle.

That's 3 months starting from today, right?

Actually no, it starts from the date of entry you give them.steven wrote:That's 3 months starting from today, right?
We really need the 45 days, and plan to be in Tajikistan from the 5 september to the 19 october.
When asked for the date of entry, we wrote 5/09.
But our brand new "e-visas" indicate :
Valid from 05/09/16
Duration of stay : 45 days maximum
Valid until : 04/12/16
If I could do it again, I would have chosen the 1st of september, just in case we arrive at the border in advance.

Re: Tajikistan launches evisa with GBAO permit
We had the same experience as Karoutcho - we were given 90 days to enter from the date we selected during the application process (23 August). Duration of stay 45 days. Application approved within 24 hours.

Re: Tajikistan launches evisa with GBAO permit
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to re-ask a question on this topic about specific dates for GBAO. FAQs on the eVisa website say:
Do I need to enter to GBAO on the exact date specified on my e-Visa?
Yes. You should enter to GBAO which is specified on your e-Visa.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this?

Re: Tajikistan launches evisa with GBAO permit
I've just had a look at my eVisa that's been approved and have noted that it lists my Place of Birth as my Country of Birth (Australia), rather than the City of Birth (City X) listed in my application.
Wanted to confirm if others have had their Country listed, rather than their City of Birth?
I'm bit concerned this may cause confusion at the border as my passport lists my Place of Birth as my City of Birth (City X)...

Got my evisa yesterday. The emails went directly to the spam folder (on gmail), check yours!
Yep, "place of birth: France".
I also got free dates visa. During three months (starting on the 'entry date' I gave) I'm allowed to spend 45 days in the country (on a one-entry visa basis).

Re: Tajikistan launches evisa with GBAO permit
For me also the place of birth = country of birth. Not incorrect, I guess.
