Availability of drinking water
Availability of drinking water
I'm wondering about the availability of bottled water to drink - particularly on the Pamir Highway. I normally just buy it as required but I can't work out if its readily available in this region and whether it's worth bringing some form of water flirtation like this I'm assuming that other areas between Chinad and Turkey via the Stans and the Caspian sea would be OK but I"m wondering about this area.

Re: Availability of drinking water
You won't have a problem getting tea anywhere, and most people/cyclists report no problems drinking the mountain-fed meltwaters, anyway.
