Hi everybody.
I didn't find specific info on my question so asking on this Forum.
Can somebody please advise where to stay in Dushanbe and Khujand? I'm looking for a clean decent room in a hotel, homestay, hostel (if they have a separate room).
Budget is up to 30 usd per night. Don't need anything special, only clean bed and clean bathroom.
Most of places on accommodation websites are expensive. Surprisingly. Or more affordable places have no references.
Hopefully you'll share your experiences and addresses, contacts of good places to stay.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Looking for advice on accomodation in Dushanbe and Khujand
Hi,
my wife and I was last year in Kuhjand ( Chudschand ).
We found 2 rooms apartment for 19 € direct in centrum ( on the main street near the Panjshanbe Bazaar and mosque - 3 min walk).
Airbnb - you need to write Chudschand.
The host was very nice ( Mukhiddin ). He speaks also english.
The apartment was really super central. Not very modern a little bit oldish but relative clean.

But you can find on airbnb a few quite cheap accommodation.

We are currently in Dushanbe and had a similar problem. The hostel we're staying (Doshan hostel) is clean and in your price range but the management is a pure rip off. They don't give you a letter of registration (unless you're willing to pay 30 USD) for the purchase of sim cards.
I heard the Yeti hostel supposed to be very nice. We'd have gone there if it wouldn't have been sold out.

People are positive about Green House Hostel in Dushanbe. I think they can also help with sim card, but I don't really understand. When we crossed the border we went into Penjikent amd got a sim card there in 10 minutes by showing passport and visa. Nothing about regitration.

Doshan Hostels is a nice option too, we're paying $25 a night for a private triple with bathroom, breakfast included as well
