Tajikistan SIM card registration Q&A

I have never been able to successfully use airalo or other e-sims in Tajikistan. They allow you to purchase them, but they do not actually connect in my experience. I have used an international service through my US carrier (T-Mobile - Deutsche Telekom AG), and that worked fine without registration and no notifications about it, but I only used that for one week in August 2024.

Can anyone confirm whether the in-airport registration is operational? I've heard mixed reports for the last several months. The website did not work to register my device when I was there in August.
