Beer in Dushanbe

Hi

Does anyone know or have any recommendations for the best beer drinking bars or breweries in Dushanbe?

Beer, breweries and bars are a big part of my travels wherever I go so any help would be great!

I believe the micro-brewing trend has yet to come to Dushanbe. I'll ask around, though.

Here's one comment I got:

Sim-Sim across the river is connected to the Sim-Sim brand. The beer tastes different every single time. I think Pivzavod by victory park was shut down. All else are imitation Euro/English pubs selling imported beer and serving expats and rich locals.

If you're looking for a nice beer drinking bar, I can also recommend the "BundesBar" where you can meet other travelers as well as expats.

Just read an old article about the wine factory and beer brewery near Victory Park. Christian said the brewery is gone, but perhaps the wine factory is still operating?

In any case, perhaps an interesting place to buy some booze if the outlet is still operating
