Hi!
I wanted to ask what are the rules of taking pictures in Iran. I already read some stories where tourists have been jailed
for taking pictures. I realize that anything military, police and government buildings is a no no.
But how can i be sure when its safe to take a photo?
Thanks!

Re: Photographing Rules
Usually there are big signs "No Photo" around. Taking pics at train stations e.g. is no problem.
Just don't take of places where they write "No Photo" and you should be fine...

As said, it’s not a huge issue if you just don’t photograph any kind of government buildings, no military stuff, no police etc.
