Hi there, we are about to enter Iran with our vehicle, coming in from Turkey. We are from Holland. Stupidly we did arrange everything (Carnet,Visa etc) but only just found out we need an International Drivers License. We don't want to fly back to get it, and we understood from two agents that we're in contact with that it's not needed.
But officially it is and you can get fined or worse. Our question is: what are your experiences regarding this? Anyone that had issues with not having it? And does anyone have experience with organisations that offer translated / international licenses online?
