Several friends of mine spent 5 days in Iran within April or May 2019. What a pity to have to leave Iran, the most helpful people I have ever met !

Apparently there is some movement. In the Facebook group Overland in Iran someone posted information, that the ban would be lifted if you are a foreigner visiting Iran with a big bike (https://www.facebook.com/groups/201937063640691). He says it shall happen within the next couple of days.
For the time being it's great news, let's see if it really happens.
