Entering US/UK after travelling to Afghanistan

Post by basedtraveller2904 »

Hi, I am currently considering going to Afghanistan this summer for a holiday with a group of my friends.

I am also planning on acquiring a student visa for a US uni this year (fall 2024), and was wondering if an Afghan visa in my passport (I am not a US/UK citizen) will mean that I get rejected, or stopped when I land at the airport?

Has anyone had experience getting into the US/UK as a non-US/UK citizen with an Afghan visa in their passport recently? Esp. since 2021?

This is not heard of to be an issue. Iran is a different situation though. Afg is not on the issue list. Also, Afg border can give you stamp on a paper rather than on passport if you want I think.
