I am currently trying to plan a trip to the Wakhan. I am an american and will be flying from Pittsburgh Intl. What are some good airlines that fly to Dushanbe? I will have to fly into Tajikistan to start my trip and I was wondering what would be the best airline/route to get there? Also if anyone could give a price estimate for round trip tickets that would be greatly appreciated as I am still in the early stages of planning/budgeting. Thank you.

Airline routes & fares are not some highly guarded secret. Some very basic searches on your search engine of choice will answer these questions. And since fares change often, asking people to search for a fare and post it in this forum is pointless.

China Southern fly to Dushanbe quite cheap from Urumqi, otherwise Emirates through their FlyDubai. I cannot give you an accurate estimate as it is to varied, please check out skyscanner.com

In Dushanbe, I can vouch for Greenhouse Hostel, it was helpful in arranging transport to Khorough.
