Visa situation

Hi,

Since not much current information is found online, I would like to ask for any information/reviews about how to get an Afghan visa from a Stan country except of Pakistan. I will be this summer in Central Asia, and would like to know if a visa can be applied for in Almaty/Tashkent/Dushanbe/Khorog.
I've also read that land borders are still closed expect of Pakistan.

When do you plan to go to Afghanistan? I contacted a guide and he said I can get a visa in Dubai or Bishek.

I haven’t really thought about it yet since I haven’t sorted out the visa yet. However, it will be good to get a guide in each different city (Kabul, Herat, Mazar and Kandahar).

I’ll go with a guide. If you join “every passport stamp” on Facebook, you’ll find many trip reports to Afghanistan and they also recommend tour guides as well.
