Afghan Visa in passport - problem for other countries?

Post by edoardo »

Hi all,

I'm currently biking the silkroad and I'm now in xinjian. One of my dream is to visit mazar e Sharif while in Uzbekistan. My wonders are about latest news (safe, not safe) and also if I will have problems entering other countries with an Afghan Visa on passport like Iran, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Armenia and turkey as I will continue my trip back to Italy.

Thanks
Edo

Yes, you can go to all countries with Afghan visa.

For safety, see https://caravanistan.com/safety/#conflict-areas

I was in Afghanistan in June this year and was also concerned about the visa on my passport, but so far I haven't had any hassle entering other countries because of it.

Word for the wise - avoid trying to enter Israel with evidence of a visit to Afghanistan unless you enjoy sitting in a stuffy office for 3 hours getting yelled at by intelligence officers......'You can't even tell us your grandfather's date of birth or your great aunt's maiden name and you want us to believe you *aren't* in the Taliban?' :?
