That would be my original plan, but I'm not so sure that kyrghiz border well be open any soon so I'm planning an alternative itinerary only in the Tajik part of Pamir Highway. I am also considering a detour in Wakhan Valley. It would be interesting for me to find some travel mate to share a car with driver. My dates are flexible in early september, so if anyone is interested please let me know

Hi - Overlander and Ginoz - I have been speaking with an agency (VistaAlay) and they indicated the route from Dushanbe > Osh is open; however, the reverse way from Osh to Dushanbe is not.

Hi Eze17, that would be interesting news also planning to do a trip on the Pamir Highway, from Dushanbe to Osh, but I read on many pages the border crossing will not be opened any time soon. Do you have more information on this?
