Trekking Kyrgyzstan in September - anyone interested?

Hey folks

I'm going to be arriving in Kyrgyzstan early September (I haven't confirmed dates yet, will probably know within the next week or two) and want to explore around before I start heading Westward. I'm especially keen to do some multi day treks. I understand that usually by that time the yurt camps have up and left, so it would be a tenting sort of situation.
I was just wondering if anybody is going to be around and if there is any interest out there in joining up, and maybe hiring a guide? I saw this fellow recommended on Reddit and he seems to have a pretty decent price. https://aitooshome.wixsite.com/kyrgyzstan

I was thinking of joining a Pamir tour in Tajikistan but I'm on the fence about it.

I'm open to other countries also, e.g. Fann mountains in Tajikistan.

I'm planning a 4 day (3 night) trek (organized) in Arslanbob. I'm a 32 yo guy from Belgium and will probably be traveling with a female friend from Kyrgyzstan and maybe a male friend from Uzbekistan. Will be my 4th time in Kyrgyzstan. If you are around Jalal Abad or Osh at the end of August (28 or 29) feel free to join if interested! ciao

Tourist Pass above Arslanbob is dangerous. Don't go on an organized trek that crosses Tourist Pass.

Hi Ruby! I will be in Kyrgyzstan in August and in Tajikistan for September. I am very keen to self-drive the Pamir Highway from Dushanbe if you might be keen and am also looking at doing some multi-day trekking in the Fann Mountains at the start of September. Hi, I'm a solo traveller arriving in Kazakhstan in mid Aug and Bishkek late Aug, looking to spend 3 weeks in Kyr. doing some hiking. Probably a few 2 or 3 night trips - no long/ambitious routes (I'm 61 so am not going for broke) and not planning the Pamir highway/GBAO.
I haven't booked anything yet. Going by this forum, it sounds like booking guides etc from 'abroad' is lot more expensive than booking on the ground. So my 'plan' (ha) is to scope it out on arrival. I speak Russian which I'm told gives me more options on the ground and a bit of confidence to busk it. If you...
- have learnt anything that makes you think that's a crazy plan, or
- have narrowed down to any trips that you want to talk about sharing, or
- want to keep the option to do something together...
