Hello everyone,
I'd like to do the "Best of Alay Mountains" trek proposed by the Osh CBT (8-day trek).
I'm on my own and I'd like to join a group of walkers for this trek, but I don't plan to do it alone. I'd like to do this trek around 20th June.
I have all the equipment I need to be self-sufficient. So whether it's with a group + guide or an independent group that wants to do the trek without a guide, I'd be very happy to join you if a group has already formed here.
Guillaume

Hey Guillaume,
I'm actually thinking of doing the same trek around the same time – was planning on either (hopefully) meeting other trekkers in Kyrgyzstan doing the same hike and teaming up or joining a guided tour (as I also wouldn't prefer to do it alone). There is a trekking organisation I found with fixed dates for that trek, there's one scheduled for June 20-27, and the price depends on how many people sign up I think (so the more people the cheaper it is) – currently there is 3/8 spots taken so it's actually reasonably priced to join. Here's the link: https://visitalay.com/tour/best-of-alay-mountains-trek/
In any case, would be happy to try and find/form a group to do it unguided with you (or join another group if you've already found one). Feel free to send me a private message if you're interested

Hi,
did you do the trek this summer? If yes, how were the trail conditions?
Thanks,
Thomas
