Hello, we am currently cycling along the silkroad towards east.
Our final goal is India and we would not like to cycle through pakistan. Thus we are planning to fly to India from Almaty or Bishkek.
Does anyone have experience of getting an Indian visa in Bishkek or Almaty as a foreigner (swiss citizen in our case)?

Hi, I am from India and has no experience of taking Indian Visa. 
but, I do not foresee any issue in getting Indian visa at Almaty. I remember (if correctly) my Kazakh friends were issued Indian visa from Astana within 4 days. Good Luck.
