Hi all,
I had a question about what constitutes "transit" in Turkmenistan. If I enter Turkmenistan from Uzbekistan at the Farab border and have a flight ticket out of Ashgabat airport (or enter through Ashgabat and exit overland), can I plan my 5-day transit through the country? Or does it strictly have to be a land border to land border transit only?
thanks in advance.
PS: Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find any threads.
Turkmen transit visa - does flying in/out of Ashgabat count?

Hi, this constitutes transit and is allowed. You can find it mentioned in the TM visa article on http://caravanistan.com/visa/turkmenistan
