Hello
I can't find reliable information on this : in case of long stopover in Baku (arrival at 1pm, departure the day after at 7am), how can I get out of the airport ? (French passport holder) Is there some kind of transit visa or do I need to apply for a proper visa ?

You can apply for a transit visa in any Azerbaijan embassy, you need the usual sticker visa application paperwork (printed form, two passport photos, proof of covid vaccination, ...). The fee is 35 EUR (if applying in an EU country, YMMV). Or, you can apply for a tourist e-visa online (fee 20 USD). The choice seems clear.
