My wife and I stayed in a guest house over the weekend just past, Saturday 28th - Monday 30th October, and asked for the confirmation or tourist registration slip at checkout. This is the same thing we have done at every other place we’ve stayed during our time in Uzbekistan so far and never had any issues. On this occasion, however, the owner advised that there was a problem with the website over the weekend and he was unable to do this.
He said he had called them and been told the site was down for maintenance (I can’t recall the exact wording but something along those lines). We were provided with a paper copy which he filled in manually, signed and stamped.
I was wondering if anybody knew if:
A) There were indeed issues with the site over the weekend that would have prevented this?
And
B) We were planning to cross a land border in the next week - how likely is this to cause us an issue at the border?
I want to add that the owner was very helpful prior to and throughout our stay and seemed a genuine, hospitable person so we had no reason to doubt his words but only afterwards we are wondering if this is potentially going to cause us problems.

It won't be an issue. Don't worry about it.

When I crossed the border from UZ ---> KZ by bus, the UZ border police asked me for registration paper.I have got this paper from the ART HOSTEL in Taschkent.

Re: Tourist Registration Site Down?
Thanks for the replies. Update to this - I checked into another place and spoke with the host there who said there was indeed issues with the site last weekend and we shouldn’t be asked about those dates.
Crossed the border into Tajikistan today and was not asked about this or for registration slips - I believe it is all digitally recorded for most check points. Was asked a couple of questions such as what is your name, how long have you been in Uzbekistan, where did you visit?
Could have been quizzing me or just practicing their English but never seemed too serious and no issues.
