Embassy reports: Pakistan visa in Copenhagen

Postby miaesper » Wed Jun 15, 2016 9:22 am

Hi :-)

I realise that there are probably not a lot of people here applying for Pakistan tourist visa in Copenhagen, Denmark.
However, I want to let you know that 6 months entry appears to be the norm here (upon entry you get 30 days).
Maybe this is possible in other embassies too... maybe with reference to it being the norm in Denmark :-)
It was indeed a welcome surprise here since I assumed only 3 months entry was possible but this was not fitting our itinerary.
We also managed to talk our way around getting a LOI.
40 euros per person in total.

How long did it take to receive the visa from when you applied for it? The embassy's website seems to give conflicting indicators and they don't answer phone calls/emails. :?

Hi ag91
So sorry I only saw this post now!
I think the turnover was about 2 weeks. However, they seemed to be pretty flexible. If you need it quicker and explain them the situation, they might be able to help you but I can't promise anything. We spoke to the consular attaché Sair Khan and he was helpful.
Good luck if you didn't go already :-)
