Embassy report: Iran visa in Beijing
Hello everyone,
It is a very long process to get the Iranian visa in Beijing.
I have had a very pleasant experience with the partner agency of Caravanistan that provided me with the authorization code.
Now, at the embassy they asked me to get my fingerprint checked, that needed to be done by a notarial office, would cost 300RMB (~42€) and take 5 days, or 3 days for the express treatment. Once that done, it would take between 5 and 6 days for the visa to be ready.
I am very disappointed and don't have enough time to complete all the procedures. I guess that I will need to re apply for an authorization code for another consulate in another country, that does everything the same day or in two days and don't require an extra amount for the finger prints paper.
The employees where very kind at the embassy, and spoke English, but apparently, the fingerprints are the rules there.
