Embassy Report: Turkmen Visa at Abu Dhabi

Short: Got denied
Long: Took 15 days, then I requested that number (the first two letters are the border crossing, where you enter, so for example you want to cross to Ashgabat, your number will start with ASXXXXXXX). When arrived in Mashad, I was told, that I have been denied. I did some research and in Teheran I found out, that you MUST NOT use the form, which is linked here in the Visa-Section!!! This one is outdated and there exist a new one (although I got a copy of the copy of the copy there). Interestingly, the new version consists of two sheets: One with many questions and one with only Name, Passport number and so on. You hand over the short one and keep the other one till collection! Strange...
PS: It seems, that there had been a previous report (because it is listed at the visa page), but I wasn't able to find it with the search function. Sorry!

Hi rienesl, can you point out where that link is to the visa form? I couldn't find it.

These are the application forms send to me by the Turkmen embassy in Abu Dhabi. They are current as of June 2017.

I contacted them to apply for Turkemenistan transit visa. But unfortunately they won't accept visa application by mail. We have to go there to submit it !!
