Re: Azerbadjian with my car
"If you do not want to pay this deposit you get a 3 days transit for the car. "
So, If I can through AZ in less than 3 days, Nothing to pay for the car, that's right?
Do you think that entering on Monday afternoon and exit on Thursday morning is les than 3 days?

I don't know that for certain but I would err on the side of caution in your case.

Re: Georgia-Azerbaijan border crossing at Lagodekhi/Balakan
Hi everybody,
We entered Azerbaijan coming from Iran. There is no problem whatsoever bringing your car since they implemented new rules and a new computer system for the customs departement.

Re: Azerbadjian with my car
At the end of June, we crossed into Azerbaijan with our own vehicle from Red bridge and exited at Lagodekhi 10 days later and there was no problem at all. No deposit, easy car checks, ….
On the Georgian side, lots of local cars waiting, but many locals told us to drive up all the way to the gate, so in the end it didn’t take long.
Upon entry we paid 30 Manats for 2 weeks car insurance as well as 20US$ for 30 days road tax. Oh and gave away few cigarettes

Re: Azerbadjian with my car
We have had no problem entering with our Toyota Land Cruiser 2001 diesel. Only had to pay 40€ or usd road tax and 30€ or usd insurance. They accept green card as proof of insurance as long as it covers for azb. Road from Lagodechi to Baku was quite harsh for some parts of the fiat half of the route (unpaved and muddy).

We entered Azerbaijan this morning from Lagodekhi, Georgia with a Kazak registered car plus 2 cats
The border immigration and customs gave us a very warm welcome, no queries re Armenia. They only scanned suitcases and a bag of groceries, cost Au 50for insurance and Au 30 for road tax. All in took less than one hour. This border crossing is not busy!
