Hello,
I plan to enter Pakistan from china with my Motorbike this Summer.
As far as I know I can apply for the Pakistani Visa in Shanghai as I have a residence Permit there and I dont have to do it in my home country (germany)
but...how do I get a Letter of invitation for the visa?
is it possible to enter Pakistan from China with your own vehicle?
I read many different reports so I hope for some first hand experiences.

You do not need a letter of invitation for a tourist visa AFAIK (please correct me if I am wrong), see http://caravanistan.com/visa/pakistan/
