So do I understand it correctly that you did not have a LOI?

I understand you did not have a LOI.
I am curious what you filled in at the 'inviting party'-box on the evisa-form?

Hi there,

me and my friend (1x French passport, 1x German passport) also applied for our Uzbek visa at the embassy in Berlin on June 12th 2017, and we got our passports back on June 19th. We waited for just six working days, even though we only paid the normal fee.

We filled out the online form, printed it, put our pics on it and gave it to the embassy staff along with our bank slips and a stamped envelope. The people were polite and the guy who talked to us spoke perfekt German without the slightest hint of an accent.

We didn't have an LOI, so we left the "inviting party"-box empty. And we also gave them the address of a hotel in Samarkand that we haven't booked yet.

All in all, a very positive experience.

Hi there,

I'm about to apply for the visa (german passport) but still unsure what to put in some of the fields. I'm going for the 30 days/multiple entry option. @bodenseeoverlander - do I understand correctly that you only put 1st - 31st of August as planned period of travel and no further specificaiton as to when you are going to exit and re-enter within this timeframe? They are asking for "Duration of Stay (days, for each entry)" in the form and I have no idea what to put as I haven't planned my exact itinary yet.
Also, there's a required field "Accompanied Persons (persons travelling together and inserted into applicant's passport)" --> "inserted into applicant's passport", what does that even mean? I'm travelling with a friend, should I put his name here, or is this meant for children travelling with their parents or what?

Hope someone can clear things up for me :-) thanks for your help.

Thanks Steven for the answer. We are on the road so it is sometimes difficult to follow the answers in this thread.

We did not send any itinerary and we did not use an LOI. Just leave the inviting party empty.
