Elections in Iran: May 19th, 2017

Post by steven »

Presidential elections are scheduled to be held in Iran on 19 May 2017. What will be the effect of travel to Iran during this time?

Absolutely unknown to us, but in previous elections, access was restricted to foreigners.

All your questions and updates are welcome.

I just got a 30 days tourist visa from Istanbul. It is valid from 29.03.2017 until 27.06.2017. It all went straight forward. I applied yesterday and picked it up today.

Hi Steven,

My boyfriend and I both got visa for 20 days, planning to enter Iran on the 15.5. No problem whatsoever. We are from Croatia.
