Also, I wasn't asked for payment. My plan is to cross the land border from Aktau to Nukus so will report back in a week or more on how it goes

Looking forward to hearing how that journey goes. I plan to travel in the opposite direction.

Just received my evisa. Valid starting from July 16 (I applied night of July 15) until Oct 14, single entry, 30 day stay. Will fly into Tashkent in a few days so will report back about entry.

On the E visa application form, there is a drop down box requiring you to choose 'Place of Visa Issuance'. What are you supposed to put here?

Also is anyone having an problems with the drop down menus? They will not scroll to other options.

Thanks everyone

You are on the wrong evisa site.

Here is the one you need:

The e-visa form asks for "Preliminary place of residence in Uzbekistan". Should I put in a city, or a hotel address? We haven't booked a hotel yet, since we don't have a visa yet.
Can we put in any city/hotel address in the form, and then actually stay somewhere else - or do we need to do our OVIR registration in Uzbekistan via the same hotel address we have named in the visa form?

Thanks!

You can just write a random hotel. Name, street address and city. You can stay anywhere different afterward, with no problems.

It took some time to get photo valited.
The measurements needed to be those 413x532

And the photo needed to be very close of your head.

Then it was accepted.

I got only confirmation to screen that it's paid now.
Hope it will come 🙈😁

Great that the e-visa has been implemented - does anyone know whether there's still a way to get a multiple entry visa, or is it only single entry e-visas...

Thanks
