Dual passport - problem at the Tajik border?

Post by arsenal4mylife »

Hi guys, im considering an overland trip from Kazakhstan to Georgia.
Right now i have British Oversea passport and Hong Kong passport.
Considering visa is not required for Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan it would be good to start with British one.
The problem is Iran requires LOI and charge very high fee for visa so at some point i have to use my Hong Kong passport.
For anyone who has experience, do you think Tajikistan or Uzbekistan will be less problematic?
Overlanded in Africa before and some borders weren't happy with me changing passport..

Hey,

Me and my friend crossed Tajikistan from China to Kyrgyztan. He had his chinese visa in the american passport and used his canadian passport to enter Tajikistan. Nobody asked was irritated, evetythingnwas straight foreward.
