Tajik visa in Dubai - quick & easy!

I had called the Tajik embassy in Dubai in advance and they had said 3 working days to process & they keep the passport. However I showed up at 11am today with a completed form which I had obtained via google, & 1 passport pic, & got passport back with 30 day visa by 11.35! 200 dirhams (US $54). Irish passport, no LoI needed. Location: Al Safa 2, Zone 357, street 4c, house 5. Open Sun - Thurs 9-3. Really quick & really easy! Uzbek visa next on list... That's not looking so easy yet!

Forgot to say, Dubai would not issue a GBAO permit and said this can now only be cone in Dushanbe.

Interesting...I am sure there are still other places that deliver the GBAO...will have to wait for confirmation.

Just to clarify, as my post was misleading... they didn't say the GBAO could not be issued in other embassies, they said they could not issue it and I would need to get it in Dushanbe. My comment made it sound otherwise, but I was only referring to not getting it in Dubai.
