Hi everyone,
any recent experience to share regarding the online application?
As far as I know, you should expect a long wait... Please apply in advance.
A friend (French passport) applied around April 10th and still got no answer.
Two other friends (German passports), applying in the beginning of April as well, are still waiting too.
I applied ten days ago (French passport) and 24h later got requested to add a proper LOI, as well as a proof of employment. I added a new hotel booking (fancy one) as LOI, with the other required documents. No news since then (8 days ago).

I assume those unexpected waits are related to the current political crisis but...

Anyway, take care and safe warm journeys, curious to read your own experiences!

ok so, I finally received from the Pakistani authorities' website a notification of visa approval. It took around 30 days in total, which actually is not so bad, as long as you're confident in getting it. I had no LOI, a hotel booking turned out to be enough. Letter of employment, detailed itinerary, Iranian visa.
I'm a French citizen, paid 35 USD. Got three months (: <3 Single entry. Second time I travel there. At the time of application, the Indian border hadnt reopened so I detailed them a land itinerary entering from Taftan border and exiting two months later at Taftan border.
Urs of Bulleh Shah and Shah Bhitai are waiting for me (:
Keep hope!

Hey, I am a german citizen and i want to apply for Pakistan E-Visa. I am really confused with the Application form on EVisa Website and i have a few questions to the people who already made experiences:
1. Is "Visa in your inbox" just the normal Evisa or is that the Visa on Arrival?
2. In the application process they are asking for the "Allowed Visa Duration". When choosing "Visa in your Inbox" you can just select "1 Month". I am confused about what they mean by "Visa Duration". Is that the time you have until entering Pakistan or is that the total length of your stay? When applying for the "normal" Tourist Visa one can select up to 3 Months in this field.
3. On the other hand the webpage is saying under "Important Terms": "Visa Validity: The Validity of visa is the period during which it can be used. All visas are valid for entry into Pakistan for 6 Months from the date of issue and if the visa has not been utilized during this period, it would become invalid." Is this information true? Do you have always 6 months of time for entering Pakistan?
Really hope to get some helb here. Best

Report for obtaining my Pakistan Tourist Visa:

I applied yesterday for a Pakistan Tourist Visa and received the Visa Grant Notice today. Incredible, if you keep in mind that today is friday!

I'm german citizen and i provided the following documents in the online application process as pdf/jpeg documents:
- Passport copy
- Photo
- Hotel Booking (Just one average Hotel in Lahore for 5 days, Booking.com confirmation)
- Travel Route (Taftan, Quetta, Sukkur, Multan, Lahore, Wagah) - They didn't asked for this. I provided in under "other" on my own.

NO LOI WAS NEEDED AND I WAS ALSO NOT CALLED IN FOR AN INTERVIEW!

I was granted a Visa which is valid for 3 months with a visa duration of 30 days. My travel itinerary is around 14 days long and lays in the middle of the time when the visa is valid.

I'm really, really happy that this worked out so well and easy. Didn't expected this. I was especially afraid, that going through "dangerous Balochistan" and exiting the country in direction of the enemy country India will cause me problems. But nothing at all! Also the website with the application form worked surprisingly well.

Hello together,

after a lot of struggle with my application it finally got approved after round about three weeks (but with that new problems came up). German citizen, in Iran right now but applied at embassy in Frankfurt. Did really mention only basic things and therefore application got on review. They mentioned I have to provide LOI of company or LOI of private person.
After I provided a private LOI they refused again and said that only LOI of tour agency is allowed for me. Was very confusing.

My initial plan was to cross into Pakistan in October but it changed during the process due to Azerbaijani land border still closed.

In the LOI it was mentioned that my initial plan was like that but due to "tour agencies offer I changed my plan to" cross into Pakistan on 18th July and travel plan for three weeks was provided with that.

Now I got my visa for 60(!) days, but it is valid only from 15th September on. Very useless for me right now.

Did anybody try to change their date for approved e-visa to an earlier date? I think I will try to go to pakistan embassy at Tehran next week and try to do so but some experiences would help me in this case. :)

kind regards
theroadtrotter

Update 19th July: As per Pakistan consulate at Frankfurt it is impossible to make changes to already issued e-visas. I have to apply for a new one. :(

Hello everyone, I have a question, I just applied for the online visa, Italian and resident in Turkey, and in the travel information, my entry to Pakistan would be through the Karachi airport, I have not yet booked the flight, but it is possible that finally decides to cross the land border from Iran. The question is, will I have a problem trying to cross the border? For entering from a different border/airport. Thanks in advance

everything will be okay except you must travel with an escort from Taftan (Pak-Iran border) to Quetta to get a NOC from there to leave Balochistan province. The escort will be with you till the Punjab border and in some cases till the Multan division in Punjab.

Hi everyone,

French passeport holder, residence in France and currently in Bishkek.
Hotel reservation for the 4 first days provided.
Entry point Peshawar airport and exit at Wagah land border.

Just submitted my application earlier during the day. I said on the application I was employed in France as I taught it would made the process smoother.

Few hours later I got an email back asking for more document
- a letter from my employer in France (which I can't provide because I'm actually unemployed...)
- a letter of my tour operator with complete itinerary on the daily basis of my trip (which I can't provide because I'll travel indépendant)

My thought at the moment are to provide a fake letter of employement and a simple written itinerary make by myself.

So my questions are:

- The letter of employment will look more serious written in French of English?... Because for sure in France no employer will provide such a letter in English, but since I'm most likely going to fake it I could write it in English anyway if the authorities like it more.
- Concerning the itinerary they explicity ask for a letter from a tour operator, but if I send a document where I say that I'll be Travelling without a tour operator and write some itinerary anyway, should that be sufficient?

Thanks for your help,
Hugo
