Uzbek visa for Turkish citizens

Hello

I have been traveling by bicycle for more than one year now with my husband as what could be the longest honeymoon ever !

Here is my question. As a Turkish citizen (my husband is French) I understood I need to get a LOI and a telex number to enter Uzbekistan.

Does anybody know how much, how long it takes and how I can get them before applying for the visa ?We gonna enter Iran next week and staying in Teheran for some other visas (we will cycle through the Pamirs and China afterwards).

If you have any info, it would be apprecuated and we would be so grateful !

After having applied for a LOI as a Turkish national, I've been told it usually takes 3-4 weeks to get it (like Chinese citizens according ti the agency).

LOI has been obtained after 7 days. Just need to apply in Tehran now. Will let you know !
