Applying for an Uzbek visa from St Petersburg

Postby jacanab » Mon May 11, 2015 1:27 pm

We are two British nationals currently living in St Petersburg and have flights booked to Samarkand on the 22nd of May. We stupidly assumed there would be a consulate here in St Petersburg where we could apply for our visas but have just realised there isn't. Is there any way of applying for the visas from St Petersburg or can this only be done in Moscow or Novosibirsk?

I think the best would be to use the services of a visa firm in Moscow and send your passport to them. Pricey, but I do not see another way.
