Pamirs closed for now
A traveller here in Bishkek went to get a Tajikvisa & GBAO permit on Friday & was told that permits are currently not being issued. The reason given was an increase in Taliban & IS activity in N Afghanistan & concerns that this may cross the border to Tajikistan. The embassy give no forecast on how long the permit halt may last.
